Camiel's childhood dream was to become a fighter-pilot. He eventually decided however to follow in the footsteps of his father, who was also a physiotherapist. Camiel took only three-and-a-half years to complete a medical degree in physiotherapy at the Hogeschool van Amsterdam. He knew from the very start he wanted to open his own practice where he would work on a very specific way.

Camiel has a strong sense of independence and a healthy dose of personal responsibility. He is also reknowned for his perseverance and his utter dedication to his clients and his profession.

 This kind of talent does not go unnoticed for long. Not surprisingly, Camiel's customer base includes many topclass athletes, including Edgar Davids, John Heitinga, Wesley Sneijder and Churandy Martina. He has been treating many of his clients for years

As well as opening his new practice, Veel Beter, Camiel has been working for the Formula-1 racing team Spyker Christijan Albers. 

Camiel also makes frequent appearances at Real Madrid, Tottenham Hotspur, Athletico Madrid, Ajax, Juventus, Manchester City and Everton. His talent is to treat and cure athletes within the smallest amount of time. That is why he flies around the world to show his skills.

His talent and skills have also been enthusiastically embraced outside the world of sport into the realms of Television, Corporate Life and the Entertainment Industry.
